What we collect by default: nothing
Your GPA, age, TOPIK level, and the result are all worked out inside your own browser. We don't store them, and the calculation never sends them to our analytics or a database.
One honest exception: if you copy and share your result link, your GPA travels inside that link's web address. Anyone you send it to — and the server that loads it — can read it from the URL, and it may be recorded in that server's standard access logs. Our app doesn't save it to a database, but it isn't a secret value, so don't share the link if you'd rather keep your GPA private.
This version does not collect your email. A GKS deadline-alert opt-in is planned, but it is not active yet: no email backend is connected, so an address you enter is not sent to a mailing provider, saved to a database, or written to our logs. If deadline alerts go live, your address will be handled by an email provider with a one-click unsubscribe in every message, and we will update this policy and the date above before that happens. We would only ever email you about GKS deadlines.
Analytics
When configured, we use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (Plausible) to count page visits and feature use. It records no raw GPA, age, or email, query-string retention is off, and it loads only when an analytics domain is set. There is no cross-site tracking.
Cookies
The tool needs no cookies to work, and sets none for tracking.
Contact and data requests
For any privacy question — including a request to access or delete anything we might hold about you — contact studysunbae@gmail.com. Because the tool stores nothing by default, there is normally nothing to delete; if the email opt-in is live and you subscribed, unsubscribe with the one-click link in any deadline email or ask us and we'll remove you.
