Only the period the university gave NIIED in its overview for the 2027 University Information pack. Most are an “application and screening” period, so the last day is not a deadline.

Confirmed rows first, each group sorted by the first date you have to meet. All dates are 2026, Korea time (KST). Where a university sets separate dates for an e-mailed or online copy and for paper documents, both are shown. Windows that have closed are marked.

A tentative period is the one each university gave NIIED before the guideline came out, and most are labelled “application and screening”: the last day is when screening ends, not when applications close. One university's real deadline turned out to be more than three weeks before the end of its tentative period.

Each university that has confirmed its 2027 schedule so far wants paper documents delivered by its date, often alongside an e-mailed or online copy. International post takes days, and the recommendation letter has to arrive sealed, so a delivery date is earlier than it looks. Finish the Personal Statement and Study Plan early enough to leave shipping time.

Embassy result first

Embassy Track first-round results are due by October 16, 2026. If the embassy does not pass you, the guideline lets you apply once more through the University Track — but only where a window is still open. Rows flagged in the table end on or before that date.

One university, one department

You choose one programme (UIC or Associate Degree), one university and one department. Applying to more than one gets the application disregarded, and a scholarship found afterwards to rest on a duplicate application is cancelled.

Passed the embassy first round? This track is closed to you

Embassy Track applicants who passed the first round, backup candidates included, cannot apply through the University Track. Nobody may apply to both tracks at the same time.
